Bronchitis

Bronchitis is an inflammation or swelling of the bronchial tubes (bronchi; the air passages between the mouth, the nose and the lungs). Bronchitis negatively impacts breathing abilities and often results in airways that are blocked by heavy mucus and/or phlegm. Acute bronchitis manifests itself temporarily in the common cold. Chronic types of bronchitis, however, are persistent and currently have no cure. People with chronic bronchitis have varying degrees of breathing difficulties, and symptoms may get better or worse during different parts of the year.

Given that salt has natural anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, halotherapy can speed up the process of recovery after the flu and relieve inflammation and congestion in the airways. As the natural salt dust gently cleans the airways and lungs of mucus, it reduces inflammation throughout the bronchi, enhancing your breathing.
